Key Responsibilities:
📖 Develop and implement information management policies, metadata standards, and best practices
🗂️ Organize and maintain digital and physical collections using advanced library technologies
💻 Optimize library management systems and digital repositories for better accessibility
📊 Conduct research, data analysis, and synthesize insights for decision-making
🎓 Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
📝 Create detailed documentation, reports, and user guides
🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and workflows

Required Qualifications:
✔️ Master’s degree or higher in Library & Information Science or related field
✔️ Strong experience in academic, public, or specialized library environments
✔️ Expertise in cataloging rules, metadata standards, and digital resource management
✔️ Proficiency with library management systems and repository tools
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
✔️ Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Technical Skills:
📚 Information management, cataloging, and metadata schemas
💻 Library systems, digital repositories, and resource discovery tools
📊 Research, data analysis, and documentation
🤖 Familiarity with AI in libraries and digital transformation (preferred)
🌐 Knowledge of open access initiatives and emerging trends (a plus)

Additional Requirements:
🌍 Comfortable working in a fully remote, project-based setup
⏳ Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
🎓 Certification from ALA or similar organizations is a plus
💰 Salary: $20 – $50 per hour (approximately ₹1,700 – ₹4,100/hour, paid in Indian currency based on current exchange rates). Salary in hand will be calculated on an hourly basis
