🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection Support

• Assist in incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components
• Perform basic measurements using instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge
• Check dimensions as per drawings and standards

2. Documentation

• Maintain inspection reports and quality records
• Record measurement data and update quality formats
• Assist in maintaining traceability of parts

3. Drawing & Standards Understanding

• Learn to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Understand tolerances, symbols, and basic GD&T

4. Quality Control Activities

• Identify defects in castings (blow holes, cracks, shrinkage, etc.)
• Segregate OK and Not-OK parts
• Assist in root cause analysis under supervision

5. Process Monitoring

• Support quality checks during production
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions

6. Audits & Systems

• Assist in internal audits and documentation for ISO/IATF systems
• Follow company quality procedures and policies

7. Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow PPE and safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness in inspection area
