A Trainee Operator is an entry-level technical role designed for candidates who have completed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in any trade. The role involves learning and supporting manufacturing operations, machine handling, production processes, safety procedures, and quality standards under the guidance of senior operators and supervisors.

The trainee operator is expected to gain practical knowledge of plant operations, machine functioning, maintenance basics, and process discipline while contributing to production targets and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation Support

• Assist in operating production machines and equipment.
• Learn machine startup, shutdown, and operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance during production.
• Feed raw materials into machines as required.
• Adjust machine settings under supervision.

2. Production Activities

• Support daily production operations.
• Ensure production targets are achieved.
• Maintain production records and log sheets.
• Help reduce machine downtime and material wastage.
• Follow production schedules assigned by supervisors.

3. Safety Compliance

• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Report unsafe conditions or accidents immediately.
• Participate in safety drills and training programs.

4. Training & Learning

• Learn manufacturing processes and plant systems.
• Attend technical and safety training sessions.
• Develop technical skills related to operations.
• Understand company policies and operational standards.
