· Well versed and knowledge on the restaurant menu, promotional activities and other relevant issues concerning the restaurant and act as an ambassador to it.
· To personally coach, train and develop the F&B service team to ensure good food and beverage knowledge, perfect sequence of service delivery
· Ensure the proper appearance and grooming of assigned colleagues
· To supervise a station and ensure that standards are maintained at all times
· To ensure the smooth preparation of the restaurant side-stations and table set-ups as per the standards
· To handle a loud, intoxicated or abusive guest
· Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
· Work in close cooperation with the kitchen and stewarding as well as the cashiers to ensure a smooth-running operation
· Handles all guest complaints and takes corrective action as needed
· To continuously collect feedback from guests and report it back to the restaurant manager on a regular basis
· Directs assignments roster to be maintained accurately
· Maintains a hospitable and team atmosphere with fellow staff.
· Upsell alcohol beverages to guests
· Trains new employees and monitors their activities
· Comply with the restaurant environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
· Attends periodic and regular trainings and meetings.
· Ensure that all front of house and guest areas are well maintained at all times
