Core Responsibilities

• Infection Control & Sanitization: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, nursing stations, ICUs, and operating theaters using color-coded cloths and hospital-approved chemicals. Execute strict "terminal cleaning" procedures when a patient is discharged or transferred.
   
• Biohazard Management: Safely collect, handle, and dispose of biomedical waste, sharps containers, and bodily fluids according to regulatory safety protocols.
   
• Isolation Room Cleaning: Strictly follow protocols for isolating contagious diseases, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
   
• Supply Replenishment: Restock essential items in patient rooms, public spaces, and restrooms (e.g., hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels, and linens).
   
• Routine Maintenance & Upkeep: Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum all common areas, hallways, and waiting rooms. Polish fixtures, clean vents, and maintain housekeeping equipment.
   
• Hazard Reporting: Identify and promptly report any safety hazards or required maintenance to the hospital facility department.
