Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled and hardworking candidates for the position of Shuttering Carpenter. The candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, erecting, and dismantling formwork (shuttering) used for casting concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, staircases, and foundations. The role requires adherence to construction drawings, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Class 5 or above

• SSC/NSDC-certified training in Shuttering Carpentry will be preferred
   

Role & Responsibilities

• Study and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and shuttering layouts

• Measure, cut, and assemble formwork using wood, plywood, and steel shuttering systems

• Install shuttering for columns, beams, slabs, staircases, foundations, and RCC structures

• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, stability, and support of formwork before concreting

• Apply release agents and maintain proper finishing standards

• Safely dismantle shuttering after concrete curing as per project guidelines

• Perform repair, maintenance, and reuse of shuttering materials and tools

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, steel fixers, and site teams for smooth workflow

• Follow workplace safety regulations and proper PPE usage at all times

• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite
