Role Overview : A Forklift Operator is a warehouse or logistics worker who operates a forklift truck to move, lift, stack, load, and unload materials within a warehouse, factory, or distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform material movement activities between receiving, storage, production, and dispatch areas.
• Load and unload materials, components, and finished goods from trucks and containers.
• Transport materials to designated locations as per warehouse layouts and production requirements.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage, and handling of goods to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Follow inventory control procedures and update material movement records as required.
• Support cycle counting and stock verification activities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in warehouse and material storage areas.
• Adhere to company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and material discrepancies to supervisors.
• Assist in achieving daily productivity and material handling targets.
