Key Responsibilities 

• Read and interpret construction drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS).

• Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars as per project specifications.

• Operate bar bending and cutting machines safely and efficiently.

• Measure and prepare reinforcement bars with accuracy.

• Assemble and place reinforcement steel for concrete structures.

• Inspect finished bars to ensure quality and compliance with design requirements.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

• Follow workplace safety standards and construction site regulations.

• Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers to meet project timelines.

• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient utilization of steel reinforcement.
