We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Operations People to oversee all aspects of the Tennis Premier League and its mobile app. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with vendors and teams, managing league finances, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations, prioritizing player welfare, and fostering strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or Business Administration, Operations
Management, or a related field.
2. Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Proficient in MS Office,
Google Suite, and project management tools.
3. Passion: Strong interest in sports, technology, and innovation.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and logistics of TPL events, including venue management, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders.
2. Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders (co-founders, marketing team, etc.) and external partners (sponsors, vendors, etc.) to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
3. Team Coordination: Coordinate with Vendors, teams, players, sponsors, and other relevant personnel. Supervise a team of operations coordinators, and operations interns during the main league and league-related promotional events.
4. Marketing Team coordination: Collaborate with the marketing and sponsorship team to ensure seamless execution of outdoor marketing initiatives and sponsor activations during the league and associated promotional events.
5. Franchise Team coordination: Coordinate with franchise teams to understand and fulfill their
requirements for the Tennis Premier League (TPL), encompassing all necessary aspects.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage operational budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for cost optimization.
7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the league and the app promptly and efficiently.
8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, laws, and industry standards.
9. Process Improvement: Analyze data and feedback to assess the league and App’s performance.
Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, implementing changes as needed.
10. App Management: Ensure seamless operations of the TPL App, including TPL App Affiliated
Academies coordination in areas allotted. Coordinate with the marketing team closely in updating
the relevant content on the app as required.
11. Other Responsibilities: Management at all major league events, meetings, and functions, sometimes requiring travel and fluctuating work hours. Coordination and follow-up with the broadcast team, content team, Franchise team Managers, PR team, event coordinators, and administrative staff. Coordination and follow-up with the accounts team and management of payments and income and Stock management.
