Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Sound knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and process automation.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and control schematics.

• Understanding of temperature-sensitive manufacturing and processing environments.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, maintenance software, and technical reporting.
  
   

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot electronic systems, automation equipment, and control systems across the plant.

• Ensure the efficient operation of PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, instrumentation, and control panels.

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of refrigeration, freezing, and processing equipment controls.

• Monitor and maintain temperature control systems critical to production processes.

• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.

• Supervise the installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of new electronic and automation equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption.

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, electrical safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
