QP Code & Level: (CON/Q0203 – Level 4)

Role Overview: A Bar Bender & Steel Fixer is responsible for cutting, bending, placing, and fixing reinforcement steel (rebar) as per structural drawings for RCC structures.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Read and interpret bar bending schedules (BBS)
• Cut and bend steel using machines/tools
• Fix reinforcement in slabs, beams, columns, footings
• Tie reinforcement using binding wire
• Ensure correct spacing, cover blocks, and alignment
• Coordinate with shuttering team before concreting
• Follow safety and quality standards
