Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines to manufacture sheet metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, nesting programs, and production specifications.
• Load and position CRCA, GI, SS, and other sheet metal materials onto the machine bed, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
• Set up and verify machine parameters, including cutting programs, material settings, and operational configurations to achieve optimal cutting performance.
• Monitor machine operations throughout the production cycle to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to production targets.
• Inspect cut components for dimensional accuracy, edge quality, burrs, dross, and other defects, taking corrective action where necessary.
• Perform routine machine checks, basic preventive maintenance, and maintain cleanliness of the equipment and work area.
• Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and daily output reports, and communicate production status to the Shift Supervisor.
