Role Overview: A Forklift Operator is a warehouse or logistics worker who operates a forklift truck to move, lift, stack, load, and unload materials within a warehouse, factory, or distribution centre.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stack materials.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets within the warehouse and production areas.
• Perform loading and unloading of trucks, containers, and trailers.
• Ensure proper placement and storage of materials according to warehouse layout.
• Support inward and outward material movement for production and dispatch.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow all safety regulations, operating procedures, and company policies while handling equipment.
• Assist in inventory management, stock movement, and cycle count activities.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement using manual logs or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, and production teams for timely material handling.
