Job Summary :

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication layouts, and blueprints.
  • Perform marking, measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting of steel plates, sections, and structural components.
  • Assemble fabricated parts accurately before welding.
  • Carry out alignment, tack fitting, and dimensional inspection.
  • Use fabrication tools such as grinders, gas cutting equipment, drilling machines, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
  • Assist welders during fabrication and ensure proper fit-up.
  • Identify and rectify fabrication defects.
  • Maintain quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
  • Follow safety procedures and use PPE while working in the fabrication yard.
  • Maintain housekeeping and comply with company safety policies
