The Jewellery Laser Machine Operator is responsible for operating laser welding machines to join, repair, resize, and assemble gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metal jewellery components. The operator ensures precision welding with minimal heat impact while maintaining high quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laser welding machines for jewellery manufacturing and repair.
• Perform precision laser welding on rings, chains, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, and other jewellery components.
• Repair casting defects such as porosity, pinholes, cracks, and broken joints.
• Join delicate jewellery parts without damaging gemstones or surrounding areas.
• Set and adjust laser parameters such as power, pulse duration, frequency, and spot size based on the metal type and design.
• Inspect welded joints using magnification to ensure strength and appearance.
• Clean and prepare jewellery pieces before and after laser welding.
• Perform minor finishing, filing, and polishing after welding when required.
• Maintain production records and report quality or equipment issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of the laser welding machine.
• Follow company safety procedures while operating laser equipment.
