Job Summary : We are hiring Fiber Splicer Technicians to support Airtel Fiber projects. The role involves fiber optic cable splicing, testing, fault diagnosis, installation, and maintenance activities at customer and network sites. Freshers are welcome to apply, and comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic cable splicing, termination, and jointing as per project standards.
• Conduct OTDR, power meter, and continuity testing to ensure network quality and performance.
• Identify, diagnose, and rectify faults in fiber optic networks to minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and associated network equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities at field locations.
• Read and interpret fiber route maps, splice diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, and documentation of completed work.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures while working on-site.
• Coordinate with supervisors and field engineers to complete assigned tasks within project timelines.
• Prepare daily work reports and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
