Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and subnetting.
• Good understanding of the OSI model and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN technologies.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of firewalls is an advantage.
• Knowledge of routing protocols including Static Routing, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, with BGP preferred.

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, routers, switches, and network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and network connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network performance, hardware, bandwidth, and interface-related issues.
• Monitor network health using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Perform network configuration backups, restorations, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot VPN and routing issues and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
• Analyze network traffic and connectivity issues using tools such as Wireshark.
