Commis is an entry-level kitchen staff position in the food and hospitality industry. A Commis works under the supervision of a Chef or Senior Cook and assists with food preparation and kitchen operations.
 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cutting ingredients.
• Assisting in cooking and food preparation.
• Preparing items such as paratha, naan, samosa, etc., depending on the assigned section.
• Maintaining food quality and hygiene.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Following recipes, SOPs, and food safety standards.
• Supporting senior chefs and completing daily production requirements
