Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation and commissioning activities at solar project sites.
• Monitor DC and AC cable laying, routing, termination, and testing.
• Supervise installation of inverters, ACDB, DCDB, LT panels, and other electrical equipment.
• Ensure proper installation of earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, electricians, and other project teams.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure activities are completed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct or assist with electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, PPE requirements, and project safety procedures.
• Support quality control and ensure proper workmanship throughout project execution.

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of Solar PV electrical installation and commissioning.
• Understanding of DC/AC cabling and electrical termination.
• Knowledge of inverter, ACDB, DCDB, and LT panel installation.
• Basic understanding of earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Ability to read SLDs and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and site reporting.
