Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical BOP works at the project site.
• Manage construction and installation activities related to 33 kV lines, HT systems, transformers, switchgear and associated electrical equipment.
• Supervise erection of poles/towers, stringing, conductor installation and related 33 kV line activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site teams for timely execution.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for electrical works.
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality of electrical installation and workmanship.
• Coordinate electrical testing, commissioning and energization activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements and project HSE procedures.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports and site documentation.
• Identify site issues, coordinate with engineering teams and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and other project teams for smooth execution.
• Support preparation and review of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.

Required Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of 33 kV electrical distribution/transmission systems.
• Hands-on experience in BOP electrical works.
• Knowledge of HT/LT equipment, transformers, RMUs/VCBs, isolators, CT/PTs and protection systems.
• Understanding of 33 kV line erection, conductor stringing and associated electrical works.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and statutory requirements.
• Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly Wind/Solar Power Projects, will be preferred.
