FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Technician is responsible for installing, connecting, testing, and maintaining fiber-optic internet connections at customer locations.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fusion or mechanical splicing of new and existing optical fiber lines.

• Network Testing: Test signal strength and continuity using an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) and optical power meters.

• Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot network outages, repair cut or damaged lines overhead on poles or underground trenches.

• Installation: Terminate fiber cables at customer premises (FTTH) or distribution boxes.
