We are seeking a reliable Jewelry Metal Setter (Basic) to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting stones into metal jewelry pieces using standard tools and techniques. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to build a career in jewelry making and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the basic setting of gemstones into various types of metal jewelry (rings, earrings, pendants, etc.).
• Operate hand tools such as tweezers, pliers, gravers, and microscopes under guidance.
• Perform simple setting tasks such as bezel, prong, and flush setting for small to medium stones.
• Inspect and clean jewelry pieces before and after setting to ensure quality and consistency.
• Work with the quality control team to correct any setting issues.
• Maintain tools and workspace in clean, working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and workshop protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of jewelry making or metal setting (training can be provided).
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and improve setting techniques.
• Ability to work under a microscope or magnifying tools for extended periods.
• A steady hand and patience for delicate work.
