Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, production quality, machinery maintenance, and workforce management of a rice processing facility. The role focuses on ensuring efficient production, minimizing downtime, maintaining quality standards, and achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Flow Management: Supervise all stages of rice milling, including pre-cleaning, de-husking, paddy separation, whitening, polishing, grading, and color sorting.
• Operational Efficiency: Monitor utility consumption, including electricity, boiler fuel, and water, and implement measures to minimize wastage and improve cost efficiency.
• Machine Maintenance: Plan and coordinate preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance of major equipment, including Milltec, Bühler systems, parboiling plants, and boilers.
• Breakdown Management: Lead technical teams in troubleshooting machinery breakdowns and take timely corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
• Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient loading, unloading, inventory movement, and timely dispatch of finished products.
• Manpower Management: Plan workforce deployment, allocate shifts, monitor attendance and discipline, and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure production activities comply with established quality, safety, operational, and hygiene standards.
• Production Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production, efficiency, and inventory reports to the Managing Director / Plant Head.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce operational costs, minimize wastage, and enhance overall plant efficiency.
