Sales Officer is part of the bank’s frontline sales team, responsible for acquiring new customers and developing new business opportunities. The role involves selling banking and investment products and services based on customer requirements, managing customer relationships, and resolving queries to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a field-oriented sales role that requires regular customer interaction, lead generation, follow-ups, and travel within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities by acquiring customers and building strong customer relationships.
• Promote and sell banking, investment, and third-party financial products based on customer needs.
• Manage existing customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase business from the existing customer base.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales and business targets as per the applicable grade matrix.
• Generate leads through customer visits, references, market activities, and other sales channels.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure effective lead conversion.
• Record and track customer interactions, leads, and sales activities through the CRM system.
• Handle customer queries and provide appropriate support to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, SEBI regulations, and applicable financial-services guidelines.
• Maintain professional communication and represent the bank effectively during customer interactions.
