A Trade Apprentice undergoes structured 12-month practical training in a specific technical trade such as Electrical, Mechanical, Fitting, Welding, or Machining. The role provides hands-on exposure to equipment operation, maintenance, repair, installation, and safety practices under the supervision of skilled technicians and engineers.


Key Responsibilities 

• Assist skilled technicians and engineers in carrying out trade-specific activities such as Electrical, Mechanical, Fitting, Welding, and Machining.
• Perform routine maintenance, repair, installation, and servicing of equipment and machinery under supervision.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Operate and maintain relevant hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
• Support troubleshooting and basic fault identification of machines and equipment.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and 5S standards in the work area.
