We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to ensure that automotive components and products meet defined quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, maintaining quality records, and providing quality support to production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of automotive components.
• Inspect components for dimensional, visual, and functional defects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial gauges.
• Identify, document, and report quality defects and deviations.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with defined quality standards and customer requirements.
• Escalate critical quality issues to the concerned supervisor or quality team.
• Take appropriate quality decisions, including recommending production stoppage when required to prevent non-conforming products.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of visual, dimensional, and functional inspection methods.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with production and quality teams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
