An F&B Guest Service Associate (GSA) delivers exceptional dining experiences by warmly greeting guests,
taking accurate orders, and serving food/beverages according to quality service standards. They manage
table setups, uphold cleanliness/hygiene protocols, and often handle POS transactions.

F U N C T I O N A L R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests'
service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals,
and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests; set tables according to type of event and
service standards & answer questions on menu selections
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the
kitchen
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages; maintain
cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
• Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
• Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
• Follows hotel grooming and hygiene standards
• Minimises safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
• Keeps manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established
company policies and procedures
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-
operative and harmonious working environment
