Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for the loading, unloading, movement, and stacking of materials within the warehouse or facility.
• Handle pallets, automotive components, spare parts, cartons, and other materials as per operational requirements.
• Support inbound, putaway, picking, replenishment, and outbound/dispatch operations.
• Move materials between receiving areas, storage locations, staging areas, and dispatch zones.
• Ensure proper placement and stacking of materials to maximise space utilisation.
• Perform pre-operational checks on the forklift and report any equipment defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow designated material movement routes and maintain safe operating practices.
• Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent product damage, accidents, and inventory loss.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and associates to ensure smooth material flow.
• Assist in inventory movement and stock verification activities when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the operating area.
• Follow SOPs, PPE requirements, safety procedures, 5S standards, and company policies.
• Record or report material movements, equipment issues, and operational discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Park and secure the forklift properly after completing assigned operations.
