DG Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Diesel Generator (DG) sets to ensure an uninterrupted power supply at the site. The role involves monitoring DG performance, AMF/ATS panels, fuel and battery levels, conducting routine inspections, maintaining operational records, and handling basic troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate and monitor DG sets to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
• Monitor AMF/ATS panels, voltage, frequency, load, and other parameters.
• Check and maintain fuel, engine oil, coolant, battery, and other DG components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical and DG-related faults.
• Maintain DG operation logs, fuel consumption records, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure DG sets and surrounding areas are kept clean, safe, and operational.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and technicians for major breakdowns and repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and site maintenance standards.
