Nursing Attendants / Caregivers have
· To provide hands-on care to patients in a variety of settings at home.
· To help patients in their daily routine work activities like bathing and eating etc.
· To provide basic care for patients at residents of long-term care facilities.
· Orderlies transport patients and clean treatment areas & mental health care.
· Perform routine tasks under the supervision of customer or nursing coordinator/supervisor.
As per our need in Homecare we need these skillsets/tasks to be done by Caregivers
Nursing assistants/Caregivers provide assistance with such tasks as:
· General Home Care
· Dressing
· Bathing and skin care
· Feeding(Oral or Tube)
· Mouth and hair care
· Making beds (Bedding)
· Toileting assistance and Emptying Urine Bag.
· Bowel and bladder care
· Taking vital signs (temp, pulse, blood pressures etc)
· Helping patients walk with gait belts, walker, cane and other devices
· Assisting with range-of-motion exercises
· Transfer wheelchair-bound patients using safe patient handling devices
· Turning and positioning bedridden patients regularly
· Reporting all changes to the nurse
· Safety awareness
· Observing, reporting and documentation
Eligibility Criteria –
· Minimum 10th passes out plus Certification of Nursing Assistant.
· Must be above the age of 18 years.
