Qualifications and Traits
Diploma in Nursing (GNM) with mandatory KNC registration.
Experience in any clinical setup or prior experience in NGO/trust-run hospitals, particularly in outreach camps and screening, is advantageous.
Strong understanding of social development issues in India.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Languages must – be English, Kannada, and Hindi.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Your role in this organization will be that of a “Community Health Nurse” in Bangalore. You will be expected to adhere to the guidelines given by your lead from time to time.
The following summarizes your inclusive roles:
Assigned to a community within the program's geographical area.
Initially responsible for 1500 households across multiple communities.
Coordinate with Community Health Associates in the catchment area.
Facilitate tele-consultations at designated nurse-led centers, screen patients visiting the centers, and assist doctors during tele-consultations.
Act as a link between the community and health centers.
Conduct follow-up visits in the community for treatment compliance.
Strengthen community-level coordination with ANMs and ASHA/AWW for improving the service provisions such as immunization and SAM/MAM screening etc.
