About the Role:
WL Kovis India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic Diploma Apprentices to join our Machine Shop team. This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in CNC operations, casting components, and high-precision machining within a professional manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor CNC turning and milling machines
Load/unload casting components onto machines
Assist with machine setup and tool changes under supervision
Inspect finished parts using tools like Verniers, Micrometers, and Gauges
Ensure cleanliness and safety of the work area
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Record production data and help with routine maintenance
Work closely with the team to meet daily production targets
Eligibility:
Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or Mechatronics Engineering
Freshers and recent graduates welcome
Interest in machine shop operations
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills:
Basic mechanical knowledge and machining concepts
Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge)
Understanding of technical drawings and tolerances
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting
